You can go up to 10,000 KM or 6 months which ever comes first. I usually change full synthetic oils at 7,000 KM.

Some manufacturers oppose the use of fuel injector cleaners.

You can use a good brand fuel injector cleaner every 20,000 KM. Do not use fuel injector cleaner on new cars or those below 50,000 KM. you may start using fuel injector cleaner once vehicle has reached 80,000 KM as preventive maintenance. If your vehicle has been diagnosed with dirty fuel injectors you may use fuel injector cleaner.

Always use fuel injector cleaner prior to engine oil change as most of the carbon/debris is captured by the engine oil. I will use fuel injector cleaner only if a dirty fuel injector is suspected. Never use it on a regular basis as preventive maintenance.

Did you change the oil source recently?
How much oil is dropped?

No. Oil grade / Source and brand are the same since the arrival of this ride in Pakistan.

Oil dropped up to one fourth on dip stick ( 700ml) in second last oil change after 4000 km. And has dropped to 10 % on dip stick in last oil change after 1000 km.

Before these two incidents, there was nothing wrong like that, no drop of oil level. If it is engine wear and tear, then why it happened suddenly. wear and tear appears slowly.

The following are preventive maintenance checks/replacements:

1) Vehicle multi point checks.( Suspension, steering, tyres, brakes, exhaust system)
2) Brake pad/shoes check/replacement.
3) Coolant replacement, thermostatic valve replacement.
4) PCV valve replacement.
5) Brake system flushing and fluid replacement.
6) Transmission oil and filter change.
7) Radiator upper/lower hose check/replacement.
8) Tie-rod end check/replacement.
9) Air filter cleaning/replacement.
10) Sparkplug replacement.
11)A/C cabin filter replacement.
12) Timing belt replacement.(if equipped)
13) Surpentine belt replacement.

Most of the above replacements are done at specified change intervals as part of preventive maintenance.

I just bought a passo 2006 model 2013 import 2013 registered I just changed the engine oil to 5w30 future 9000 with oil filter and air filter from guard it's giving me the avg of 10km/litre before is
It possible to increase the average some times it goes to 14.5km/l with light foot

My passo 2013 import in late 16 is giving average approx 14 in ISB city and 16.5 -17 on motorway according to average odo meter but in full tank approx 410 km in ISB city . I am using Mobil 1 10w40 semi synthetic engine oil. Also i use mix hi octane and normal fuel from pso

It's low average for Passo my Passo 2011 model average in city is 16+ n on motorway 18 to 20.
I'm using 5W40 or 5w30 engine oil.

have your car's spark plugs replaced and do a thorough engine oil flush. moreover, put fuel injector with the next fuel refill. it will help for sure

i am using PETROMIN ENGINE OIL 5w40 in my Passo 2012 model and i am very satisfied with the results. Petromin is a really good oil in very reasonable price.

Engine oil is big factor in fuel average. 5w30, 10w30 gives good mileage. More thick oil more power needed by engine. If I am wrong kindly correct me. Thanks
