Common parts of " Market ki " used JDM cars (i.e. Vitz, Passo, etc.) like belts, spark plugs, filters, brake pads, etc. are easily available in automobile markets of almost all cities. You just need to visit the concerned market of your city, and get the parts

Regarding engine oil for 1 KR-FE in Toyota Passo, I would like to share my experience:

I own Toyota Passo X, 2013 model, with ~50k odo reading as of now. Since day 01, I have been using API SN, 5w-30, Fully Synthetic engine oil, and engine has been working flawlessly.

First I have been using ENEOS Sustina (it's a bit expensive option) and now I am using Total Quartz 9000 Future series (Best value for money as per my experience).

With timely oil change along with genuine oil filter, air filter, etc. and routine maintenance; I have been getting 19.5 kmpl+ in winters, and 16.5 kmpl+ in summers (with AC) within city, but driven carefully with light foot.

The quantity I pour is 03 Liters; it touches the max. mark and stays there (even when I change engine oil after 5,000-6,000 Kms).

I just for once poured 5w-40, and engine almost died. Pick, Power, Mileage, etc. almost everything dropped, so I would never advise anyone to pour 5w-40 in 1 KR-FE, ever! It's my personal and first hand experience (Pick, power and mileage only returned, when I switched back to 5w-30 and just oil grade was the culprit for all this).

As per latest owners' / user manual for 1 KR-FE in Vitz and Passo, 0w-20 and 5w-30 are the only 02 recommended grades. So, one should always choose between these 02, and never go above the max. recommended 5w-30.

And... Most Importantly! The oil must always be 100% genuine and original, and by some reputed brand.

Well my alto has zic x7 A+ oil in it .I don't know the drain rate but yes yesterday when I checked oil level was low.

Why not guard filter? Any specific reason?
Oh yes 1 more thing which coolant will work for Japanese 660 alto.some people said meetha pani hey to coolant ki zarorat nai but in this forum members strictly forbid that.

Coolant is must. Please do not use plain water. Genuine coolant present in JDMs can be used up to 1,50,000 kms. Top up with well recognized company's coolant like Toyota.

My vehicle has Japanese coolant never changed it but added some tape water now I bought the zic one link is here

What i can understand from your statement that the top up tap water might be in a less quantity. If i am right then DO NOT DRAIN OUT the coolant at such a low mileage.
Just start adding top up with an appropriate coolant whenever it is required. And NEVER ADD TAP/PLAIN WATER as Top up in future.

Well it's 2009 alto recondition bought in 2012 by 1st owner .then after 6 month the 2nd owner bought it. It's safe to say it's driven only for 6 months after 2nd owner bought it as he is abroad whenever he visited here used that vehicle .my idea is the odo is tempered as my office is just 2 km away n the odo showed 18 km .so I belive it's tempered.the thing in radiotor is very light green color liquid having viscosity of water.
So should I change it fully?after draining the old one or shall I mix new into older coolant.?

I by mistake put oil 10w40 in my passo 2016 before I use 5w20 is there any issue now if I continue or change it after 3000km back to 5w20 I am in Islamabad area so temp is going to low in October and November kindly suggest.....
