thanks to caltex that they have synthetic oil. CALTEX havoline Fully synthetic 5W-30 is a good choise. before i was using simple havoline in my corolla 2010 but now i am using that havoline Fully synthetic 5W-30 .
honda genuine oil is 5w-20. it is thin. go for 5w-30 havoline fully synthetic or shell helix ultra 5w-40.
In previous post I see "honda has switched back to caltex from total"
The cost of Caltex : Rs=1650The cost of Total : Rs=5000
Please tell me what Caltex Oil is using Honda now a days? And also suggest me what about "PSO CNG Oil SAE 20W-50" for Honda Civic VTi Prosmatic.

Dont use pso else use petromin ultra7 which is far superior oil than pso or any other inferior brand.
Go for Manufacturer Recommended Oil.... Otherwise Caltex is best!!
read the instruction on the back label of havoline fully synthetic . its for low temperature. as far as i undestand not suitable for here atleast in summer.
yup mobile1 if fully synthetic or havoline 10w-30 which is also as per honda manual.
(dig)I don't get why people are so strongly against 5w-20 oil. The L13z is a modern engine with very tight tolerances. It will readily accept 5w-20 oil.
