I have 84 charade and now its engine requires alot of work. It's ring pistons are dead and producing blue smoke very often. I wanted to swap it's engine with any fuel efficient engine. Kindly suggest be the engine to go with and also the cost and if any best place anybody know to get this work done. I'm From Karachi.

Swapping engine will result in you hating your life soon and the car will end up as a dusty scrapheap parked on the side of an apartment building rotting away.
It takes a lot of money time & effort to take up a project like that even if it's complete it wouldn't be 100% complete it would still require some work here & there !
The usual would be one pulse firing all “juctor” and “engine shtaart hai”
Such project owners end up miserable, divorced, broke or all combined.
Most of the engines these days would alone cost more than price of your charade. Its better to keep it running on its own engine or repair it if its bad.
