I m using ufone last 7 years, but using EDGE on ufone is ok, Rs: 200/- 2gb data per month for pre-paid customers.

about skpye on ufone, its depend on traffic on ufone. mostley after 10.00pm I used Skype and do voice chat on it. I also viber inn day time its work fine .

The best option is to get a ptcl pocket router and keep it in your pocket, connect your phone via wifi and enjoy the supposedly 3g speeds.

You are in which city ? I guess edge is not being offered across pakistan. I'm using Indigo unlimited data plan and it works like a charm . I stream videos too .
