If you are asking about oil reccomended in its manual then its, 5w-30 in winters and 10w-30 in summers. But i use 10w-40 througout the year.

I went to Shami Chowk Cantt shell outlet to get oil changed once.

see the packaging with issue.

it is because either the company is not paying attention or the petrol pump is selling doo number oil.

this is why i dont trust these people and as per 11 years of experince with dealerships. i know dealerships dont lie.

if they did they would have huge problems.

so get it from the dealership ill say. even if honda rebrands total oil. i know it is genuine total oil not fake.

5/40 is fully synthetic oil and yes you can use this oil for sure in your car.
And presently the lowest priced 5/40 oil is available from PTT Performa. 3L Pack would be around Rs. 2400.
Same viscosity oil from other good companies are expensive.
Recommended mileage can be upto 6K (for smaller engines). But once you are done 4K, keep a close eye on the quality, quantity & performance.

As far I know, Shell helix HX7 comes in Yellow bottle. :S

I use hx5 in my cultus, hx7 in my cuore and my uncle uses ultra in his altis.
hx7 is what i would recommend and change after 5.5k kms or 6 months (whichever comes first)

I recently bought japanese alto 2013 registered 2016
In his first two month the car gave me no problem but a week before that I drove At least 75k the car gave me overheat sign than it made me panic
Phir uss din k bad I meet with local mechanic he asked me to put my fan on direct and remove the thermostat clean the radiator
I haven't still use any type of coolant just checking the water

Your Catalytic converter is chocked. (Its a ceramic filter component part of silencer) take your car to a good mechanic and get it cleaned. The local mechanics knows nothing about these cars. Do ask the mechanic to check it with camera. If he says he dont have camera it means that mechanic is Zero. If you lives in Islamabad take your car to sunny auto mobiles in i-10 auto market
