im gonna use SGO premium 10w40 this time. is this avail from Suzuki 3S dealers ?

i must say i been using shell hx-5 from a year period. once my friend said to pour GTX 20 w 50

and i did and the car was having headache, engine noise was increase and bad mileage.

but again when shell hx-5 is used it was great through out

But i want better engine cleaning oil so i will go for SGO this time if not satisfied then ZIC A onto next

Brother u r confusing urself. For ur mehran, any oil with api grading after sj is toxic. Hx5 and zic a are apI sn. These are not designed for flat tappet engines. If u keep on using it, ur tappet rockers will start wearing out in no time. I know they provide good mileage but in the long run they can make u suffer. Gtx is a very good oil for ur ride, u might have witnessed low pick up and economy because it is 20w50 and thicker. So my final recommendation:
If u wanna use 10w40 then use sgo premium api sg (silver dabba) available at all suzuki 3s
if u wanna use zic, then pour zic m 15w40 only
If u need to shift to 20w50, use anyone except for zic hiflo

And to ensure cleaner engine, timely change ur oil and filter, no need for synthetics as they are not meant for ur ride

I was also keen to pour the best oil such as zic a and shell hx5 because their viscosity was matching with my owners manual, but senior pakwheelers had explained to me about the importance of the performance/api grades. Then according to the api grade for mehran, we have to stick to simple mineral oils with api grading ranging from minimum sd to maximum sj. I know these grades are outdated but there is a reason these are still available in pakistan and the reason is that we are owning cars which require these grades

Use any dot 3 brake fluid.
and the low mileage does not always mean that the engine is strong. Just pour in sgo premium and keep observing the oil level. If u witness oil reduction then shift to zic m 15w40 apI sj.

Mehran VXR 2013 model.
16000 km mileage.
oil being used is Guard 15W40.

Secondly guard oils are pathetic, better shift to zic m. It has the same 15w40 viscosity.

If possible send me a snap of the oil section of the owner's manual. Its an efi engine toh I am not sure whether it uses same flat tappet or rocker rollers!!! Experts plz help

guys worried for ZDDP may use Delo Gold 15W40 and it will scrub your engine like anything. And about using API-SN we have a mehran in family which is driven around 180k km and from day one on Zic A 10W40. Till 2010 Zic A was API SM after 2010 it became API SN.
I have seen cars whose manual recommends API SE or SF, which is totally obsolete so it means they can't run the cars? Toyota 18R engine with 550k km on clock so what do you think that it was being fed on 1970's API grade oil?
