I did upgraded to Pioneer in dash DVD player,Headrest dvd, sat radio, Bluethooth and Backup camera etc etc.

I love DIY's so please suggest:)

Sorry I wanted to say MFI, typo.

MFI is multi function display interface at cluster. before 2009 VW had blue and red cluster. GTI and GLI has full size cluster with steering wheel controls. After 2010 its now white display. You can see lot of information in your cluster from stereo/ navigation as well as phone book and all. In full Size MFI.Lot of settings can be changed there as well. I know Regular jetta don't have it but not sure about TDI. By using an after market units one lose MFI options.

SO its full size MFI.. with after market DVD HU.. do the RDS (radio/ stero music/ song) info display on the cluster.MFI?.. Do the compass work properly?. Also do the phone directory appear on your MFI in clsuter?

I am not getting any info of music on Cluster with after market unit. Compass work just fine. Bluetooth works with cluster.

Humm.. Ok this is the one reason I didn't went for aftermarket. With RNS315 navigation it gets more complicated. Anyways.. You should go and see www.ecstuning.com change your license plate bulbs to LED first. http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Jetta_V--TDI/Lighting/License_Plate/ES252845/
