Guys need to decide on the brake disks replacement.

please review below mentioned table and suggest as per your experience. i Intend to go for Nissin Japan Disk pads (both front and rears)

If you intend to go for NISSIN brake pads,search for country of origin.You will find nothing.Nissin only manufactures brake system for Honda excluding brake pads.Nissin DOES NOT manufacture brake pads.

Nissin Kogoyo is not manufacturing brake pads.Indeed they are manufacturing brake systems for vehicles.Thank you for giving the link,you can check yourself that brake pad is not their product.

Dear sir,
Please make a correction.BENDIX is not manufactured by HONEYWELL now.It was owned by HONEYWELL in past.Its production has been discontinued in USA.
Now it is only owned by BENDIX AUSTRALIA,and mainly supplied through its factory in THAILAND.

i went to market yesterday.

I inspected orignal honda and nissin brake pads and difference in quality was noticeable.

honda orignal pads were way superior in look and finish. m quite skeptical about authenticity of nissin brake pads now.

i have very good experience with frixa in my other ride. however i will inspect and look for frixa or bendix now since honda orginal pads are way expensive.

lets see how it pans out. will share the details IA.

You quoted in the table that original disks from mehran autos are for 6900 and 4700.. why is there such a difference if its original? 4400 difference from dealership? thats alot! if ita original, how come the're selling at such a low price?

that is for sure... but have you seen both the disks side by side? actually i was looking to change disks on my 9th gen. if theee are original, why spend the extra 4400 on dealership

yes i saw honda orignal disks in market and they were very of very fine quality can be confirmed as orignal with part number details.

they were far superior than NISSIN japan. so m quite certain that they were orginal.

Ok guys i finally opted for bendix disks front and back for civic reborn 2008.

sharing updated price table for reference

I got bendix discs from reahid.iq. He is importer of these disk pads. i got latest stealth Mar 2017 General CT Disk pads. price mentioned includes the shipping charges since disks had to travel from Faisalabad to Islamabad.

Brake pedal feel is very good. I changed the complete brake oil of the car too.

Disks are still in bedding period so havent pushed them however intial feed back is quite positive.

Guys i went to check the front disk pads for margallah.

Currently FRIXA disk pads have been installed and i must say that they have exceeded my expectations by far.

The pedal feel is far superior to Asuki and MK Yellow pads. Asuki are hard and MK are noisy usually.

However i found SGP disk pads. Estimated cost is 1400 Rs for front disk pads- had NBK written on them. The quality was exceptionally good. Will decide for these in a while.

MK Blue were also available for 1800 Rs.

As per my research MK Yellow are leather and MK blue are ceramic pads hence the price difference.

Also saw another SGP set seemed quite old however price was 3500 Rs (Not sure about it.)

Rashed.iq has suggested NiBK pads which would cost around 2400 Rs shipped.

Experts please guide.

Informative Thread but can anyone tell me about Comparison between Ceramic pad versus Metallic pad versus Leather pads.
Which is recommended for small cars like Cultus and Alto
Further what r the Brake pads options (Brands + Prices)available for Cultus?

Ceramics last longer. Leather ones are a bit cheaper however perform much less when wet and have lesser performance than ceramic pads and also lesser life span.

I assume margallah and cultus use same pads. Will share my final decision by next month and you can follow on my research accordingly.
