Best quality Brake pads in Pakistan

From where in plaza should we get the original MK brake pads. What would be the cost of these pads for all four tyres?

I,m using MK brand brake pads in my Toyota Vitz & satisfied with quality & performance.Beware of Fake or duplicate MK brake pads which are very common on side markets.Always buy from reliable shop.In my knowledge these brands are good in quality.

You have certainly got some useful information on brand listing.....BUT,the majority of brake pads are fake ones.No doubt that original ones are very good,but due to price conscious market,the good brands of brake pads don't survive. Here are some facts about the brands you have mentioned.

1. MK,...a japanese brand,(MK KASHIYAMA)but at present,it is available in Pakistan from Chinese manufacturing.Fake one,not supported by MK KASHIYAMA.

2.I BRAKE,...a brand launched by ASUKI Pakistan...a brand of Al Noor motors KHI.

3.FBK,... manufactured by a Peshawar based party,imported from china.the party used to sell DK brand brake pads,exact copy of ASUKI. After clash with ASUKI,..DK was forced to close down,and the party turned to FBK as the other option(H).

4.NIPPON,..manufactured in china from a Pakistani trading firm...Fake brand,tries to fool people by saying that Nippon means "MADE IN JAPAN"

4.ASUKI,..A brand manufactured by Noor motors KHI,no japan involvement in this brand,manufactured in China,low grade brake pads with noise and rotor issues,but very good sale volume due to low price and vast availability.Mainly used by commercial transport who don't care about the brakes much.Also widely used in almost 80% Suzuki vehicles and cars on rent.who don't spend much on brakes....unfortunately.

5.BENDIX,..At present,Bendix is available from Thailand origin,but is also available from Australia.Bendix is manufacturing in USA since 1926....but a new comer in Pakistan,very good brake pad,you can match it with OEM'S.Price is almost half to OEM'S.At present no fake Bendix is available in market.

6.TASAKI,..A complete fake brand to take the share of ASUKI brake pad in market,designing and packing is copy of Asuki to confuse the customer.

Even the copies of Toyota,Honda,Suzuki OEM are also manufactured in LHR....!!!!..as the customer pays attention to the look of the product,so the fake sellers try their best to look them so good.Remember...a good friction material may not be so good looking as the fake ones.So always find a trusted retailer to avoid the future problems.
The only good brake pad avialable in Pakistan except Bendix is Nissin,(available from thailand and malaysia manufacturing).Nissin is only available in Honda applications.

I found Akebono to be very good and Nissin also which is OE for Honda. Pricey but last 100k kms.

okay, i found their page.

NTC means "noor trading company".

I requested them for pictures and got one.

The good thing is that these pads come with the grease and shims.

How good the pads themselves are can only be decided after reviewing them on a car.

why are these labelled as "ntc asuki" why are they not just "asuki" , the packaging on the asuki website looks different, there is no mention of ntc

Their website is not updated but they are so active on their company official FB page.

For example: Olper milk is owned by Engro Foods, just like Asuki is owned by NTC (Noor Trading Co) thats why it's labeled as NTC Asuki. I hope this helps you.

Well I have used most of the pads mentioned in this thread but as far as you are moving in local non hilly area you are good with asuki ,azaki etc etc but when you are going down hill and especially in auto transmission a time comes when you press hard and you feel like pushing a baloon under your brake paddle and it won't stop.... so be carefull with down hill ..... in down hill case I recommend for auto transmission guys to switch off your OD. ..
