I shifted into this house 5 years back and upon shifting the roof was treated for seepage using look(bitumen) and ever since the house has been like an over. It's unbearable and without ac you can't live on the upper floor.
I was looking for insulation idea and I have come up with these and I need guidance. The roof is 1000 square ft
Option 1) get the roof insulated using diamond jumbolon board. I'm getting the board for 36rs Sq ft (1 inch thickness). However, I don't know what will be the total cost of installing this since it requires other work to be done. Someone who has this installed may guide me
Option 2) paint the roof with a limestone and glue mixture. This mixture needs to be replaced every year and according to people it isn't half as effective as the insulation board.
Option 3) spray the roof with insulation material. It works in the same way as the insulation board.
Which option is the best and what total cost can I expect for a 1000 square ft roof?
