Hi everyone!

After going through the entire thread I have made a realized that I don't have too much money to buy too many suits but I also to waste on some tailors that is preferred by one user and not by the other.

Therefore, I have decided to go with either Lawrencpur or UniWorth. I might not be able to have 2 suits, but the one I will have would be of quality.

Can you people suggest me which of these is better, in terms of the pros & cons of both of them. Also, please state the total price (fabric + stitching) for both of them.
I was also considering buying the fabric from UniWorth and going for Lawrencpur or vice versa, if they allow that.

Jalil is was good when he was at the store now his fraudia son is the worst. He sweet talks and robs people. Don't ever go to him he screwed my clothes and charged hefty.

Who is Wazir Sahab? I have been going to Wazir since 9-10 years, but I see 2-3 people taking measurements. One tall lean guy, one middle height stocky guy.

In their fabric sales, I knew Zafar Sahab (middle aged tall stocky built smiley faced person), but last year he moved to his own fabric shop in Bara Kahu.

I have always liked their fitting, but last 2 years have been disastrous, the buttons come lose after 6 months, bukram in collar develops bubbles, etc etc.

I have tried 2 piece suits, 3 piece suits, formal shirts as well as shalwar kameez. I mostly feel satisfied, apart from above complaints.

For this reason, I am open to try new shop.

When I was living in London, I used to get my suits and shirts from a couple of shops in Jermyn Street.
They fitted me well, well almost like a glove, as they say!
I miss their art to this date!

I am pretty sure, Saville Row is a notch above the Jermyn St work.

Thanks very much for your input and tips! I have a couple of tailored suits that are great and hopefully one of the tailors mentioned can replicate the fit/finish In Sha Allah as I will be bringing the suit material with me.

If you could please provide me with the address of Bin Aleem and Jalil Brothers that would be much appreciated as I am coming from London for a couple of weeks only and would ideally go straight there on day of arrival and will try and phone ahead to book some time from them to make the suits.

World Class Tailor in Blue Area and Ahmed Ali Imtiaz of Simla in F6 Markaz are tailor of repute. I have been on a look out for a tailor who could do canvasing instead of fusing which is normally done these days. After thorough search I came across a gentleman of similar taste and he had advised me to visit "The Master" in G9 Markaz Islamabad near Prince Bakers. I would surely visit him on my next visit to Isloo.

Bro, what was the result of your Canvas hunt? I am looking for a true bespoke tailor master in Rwp/ISB but can only find one so far. He showed me his stuff recently made for a classy uncle and that was truly awesome. So far, I have planned to give him a try but also looking for other options as well. Please let me know about your floating canvas experience.

Men's Suit Basics: Fussed vs. Canvassed Suits | The Art of Manliness

In short, the suit jackets we wear around here in Pakistan have Buckram (made of stiffed cotton) inside it which doesn't hang separately from the suit (inside the jacket between the fabric and the lining, like the lining hangs freely inside the jacket) and is fused with a glue to the main fabric. So, one can only feel the main fabric (which is a stiff now) and the lining. If fusion is not done properly, you will see bubbles on the jacket after few dry cleans. This will impact the suit's life as well. The quality measuring scale in Pakistan is using good Buckram or bad Buckram and it is perfectly normal. In true bespoke suits, canvasses made of horse hair or camel hair and cotton/wool is used.It is not fused with the fabric with a glue. It hangs separately in between the jacket fabric and the lining. There are half and full canvasses. Canvassed suits have a very long life. I have seen men inheriting such suits from their fathers. Canvassing is generally used in true bespoke suits (not to be confused with besp0ke or MTM suits). Its all about class.

I've personally had a few jackets and pants made in Bin Aleem. They are the best I got in Islamabad. I'm a tall and thin guy, can't really find good fits on the shelf, and Mr. Aleem was really of great help. Other shops in Islamabad that I tried were really waste of money, I threw almost all of them away. Quite a waste.
