This time i tried lawrencepur readymade.

the place from where i get ny clothes is in G-6 Melody Market shop name is Eleganza. I get the cloth from there and then give it to stiching over there. I always prefer everyone to go there. I get my shalwar Kameez, shirts and trouser and even Tuxedo

Anyway, I have had atleast 15-20 2pcs, 3pcs suits stitched in last 10 years or so from Wazir (my goto person there is Zafar Sb)... I previously only wore readymade (M&S, Next, Armani etc). I lived in London for a long time and recently moved to Saudi. I appreciate English and Italian sense of fashion.

Once I got suits from Wazir, I felt they were on a different planet. I really appreciate the fall and fitting of the suits. In last 3-4 years, I also had some shalwar kameez and formal shirts stitched from them, and they are impeccable as always.

So, you can imagine why I dont understand the funny comments above about Wazir.

I also got some recommendations from some friends for Royal Suitings in Blue Area, but I dont rate my friends to know much. This is such an important and personal thing in suits, that everyone can have a different opinion about clothing, but very few understand how a suit should fit on them.

So I am back in Islamabad for a few days, and once again need some suits and shirts stitched. I prefer not to drive to Pindi for this privilige, and would perhaps try the folks at Lawrancepur, Melody or Bin Aleem in I-8 Markaz.

What do you all say ?

I had my suit stitched last week. There is a small fitting issue with my trouser waist, but the 3 piece suit fits like a glove. By the way, they fixed the trouser after the trial.

Fully chuffed.

Stitching for a 3 piece suit alone will cost you 8000. I believe he told me 7000 for 2 piece.

I have no idea what is normal to you or another fella.

Normal to me costs 6-7k in fabric. I normally order 3-4 suits together. Some reasonable and some more expensive.

My Valima suit cost me 20k (3 pieces) back in 2008.

Hi everyone!

After going through the entire thread I have made a realized that I don't have too much money to buy too many suits but I also to waste on some tailors that is preferred by one user and not by the other.

Therefore, I have decided to go with either Lawrencpur or UniWorth. I might not be able to have 2 suits, but the one I will have would be of quality.

Can you people suggest me which of these is better, in terms of the pros & cons of both of them. Also, please state the total price (fabric + stitching) for both of them.
I was also considering buying the fabric from UniWorth and going for Lawrencpur or vice versa, if they allow that.

Jalil is was good when he was at the store now his fraudia son is the worst. He sweet talks and robs people. Don't ever go to him he screwed my clothes and charged hefty.

Who is Wazir Sahab? I have been going to Wazir since 9-10 years, but I see 2-3 people taking measurements. One tall lean guy, one middle height stocky guy.

In their fabric sales, I knew Zafar Sahab (middle aged tall stocky built smiley faced person), but last year he moved to his own fabric shop in Bara Kahu.

I have always liked their fitting, but last 2 years have been disastrous, the buttons come lose after 6 months, bukram in collar develops bubbles, etc etc.

I have tried 2 piece suits, 3 piece suits, formal shirts as well as shalwar kameez. I mostly feel satisfied, apart from above complaints.

For this reason, I am open to try new shop.
