My tire shop guy recommending me Chinese tires against Dunlop, Yokohama and Hankook. Should I try these or go for the mainstream brands?

Luxxan, Triangle and Warrior are top chinese brands. i have used luxxan in all my cars (3+ years) with 100% satosfaction!

How is their grip in wet conditions?

i live in karachi. so no wet conditions. but i have used Luxxan in all my cars from Mehran, cultus, margalla, liana, baleno, khyber.. the biggest car is Liana and these tyres work awesome for such a big and heavy car. they are = or > General tyres (my opinion) and price jistifies everything

Using Bridgestone sneaker 145/70 r12 sep2018 manufactured date......indeed a good summer Tyre
..at.least better than general......I personally think general which came installed from factory have low quality as compared to after market general
......coz I have four experiences
1.Xp2000 installed in Alto 2011 from factory....sidewall blew at 12000 km on motorway at 100 km/h speed....car was just to roll over but alhamdolillah saved....went to dealership but nobody entertained it....the inner sidewall blew as someone has shoved dagger
2.General radial St in mehran 2012 ....car was vibrating .....I thought balancing issue.....took car to balancing guy.....there was bulge in the tread at 35000 km
3.Eurostar in city 2017 .....the sidewall has bulge in the spare Tyre in boot not used a km...,....told to Honda fort ...they said tyres are not under warranty
4.Eurostar in gli 2014....as soon as I crossed cateye .....a blast is heard and when I saw a coin shaped piece flew from Tyre
But however had a alto 1989 mehran shape...put general and they went flawlessly for 60000 km that too in 2003 in rural areas
Had mehran 2005 ,.,.... general installed and they did 50000 km without any puncture and those tyres went 80000

Always use japnese tyres make your money valuable if chinese tyres worth 3000 per tyre than japnese tyre will cost about 4000 per tyre dont go for about 25% discount think about 75% cost you have paid and make it worth

I have recently bought bridgestone sneakers 155 /70/12 in my mehran. believe me the ride has become soft and smooth. no road noise and a better grip. i got them in exchange with old pathetic general and paid 16k. it is better to go for these branded rather than buying chinese or irani brands while the difference is only around 2 to 3 k

Buy "Horizon" tires the best one. Made by Canadian company in China. Dealer is located on Faisal town road lahore as Pak Punjab Tyres 042 35163037. One tire price is around Rs 3700.
