use hi-octane petrol. fuel in pakistan is very bad and your 3 cylinder engine does not at all like pakistani fuel.

@alienx, Shop name is Samandur Khan, have you seen some workshops right beside railway station, when you leave rlway station heading towards murre road, at the very start on the right is a big shop, or you can ask any one, he is the oldest and famous one there...

Salam, I have 2014 vitz new shape, everything is great and im loving it, but if i apply brake suddenly it starts making a grinding noise, is it normal?

WS, The grinding is ABS working. Suddenly applying breaks activates the ABS and you will feel vibrations in break pedal. If that's the case, be happy about it working as intended.

If you mean, squeaking or high pitch noise coming from front breaks when you come to a stop, that usually means a break service is required as break pads are designed to annoy you when they wear out.

Always use genuine parts for Vitz. I have my fair share of bad experiences with non-genuine parts, no matter how convincing is the shopkeeper, never compromise on replacement parts.

Asslam o Alaikum to all.

I have Toyota Passo + Hanna 10 , It was all fine when suddenly its odo meter stops at 56 K , all other things like trip/avg etc are working fine.

Can anyone please guide me what issue it may have ? any ref of mechanic in rwp/isb ?

I have Vitz 2005, 1.0. its engine leaves blue smoke and car is less powerful in reverse gear. some mechanics advised me to change either engine assembly or whole engine as it has gone weak. Please any one guide me the exact issue and cost of replacing either engine assembly or entire engine. Please also guide me some best mechanic to get work done.

the best opinion if you can afford is to install 1.3 vitz engine and get rid of 1.0, definitely your engine needs repair. Also check your cat converter.
