Beware.....A fraudster in Lahore

Im with the conensus of pay first ship later, Ive bought many items from other cities of Pakistan in unit quantity and the best way was always a bank deposit or western union and then shipping the part with TCS, Pakistan Railways or Bus (dictated by situation).

Of all the times I dealt on pure trust alone I got in trouble, no matter a kid, Ive seen some very influential (according to Pakistani chaudhry culture) folks not pay up.

Really sad to hear about your loss. Just a word of advice from me: I believe (and hope) you're privileged enough that a loss of Rs. 4000 won't hurt you much. But the person you're talking about is now indebted to you. And trust me, its his loss, not yours.

Yeah we're famous, but not because we're the only ones who do it. Its because we're the only ones who write/say such stuff whenever we hear about such an incident.

salam, one should always becareful before dealing. its better that we r straight and maticulous at the time of deal so that we dont regret it later. As for this person, i would like to say that there are some sins due to which imaan is taken away from a person at the time of death and not giving back whats due on u of someother person is one those sin. So we all should be very careful in our dealings

jaggi , the administration can catch him by asking his ISP , impossible if he uses proxy.

I even know his complete postal address and mobile number but the point is not catch him, the point is to beware of such peoplearound you and take extra caution while doing business with such people....

yeah....but these type of incident also occurs in Canada, USA and other countries as well.

yup i have never been scammed in paksitan but here first year and 180 bucks gone in the wind.

My last SMS to him was the same, I told him that I really dont care about the money anymore, it is just that I have been betrayed to a huge extent and that I am hurt.

My advice to all fellow Pakwheelers is that please take extra coution these days as this kind of fraud is just on the increase on daily basis

I'm sorry for your loss.
As a simple rule of thumb, no seller on PW can be trusted- we've had instances over the years of VERY VERY respectable members turning out to be "fraudsters". So don't take ANYTHING on face value.

i would entirely blame you for u being so naive and sending the item first without receiving the payment.and you are 36 yrs old,atleast you should have realized this.

i mean that is basic online trading sense,pay first send later.

Correct and thats where I said I trusted him beig the fellow Pakwheers and also on the basis of my previouse experience on Pakwheels whre many of my deals went perfectly smooth....

My bad luck that its not the best pick everytime... lesson learnt...

Not Lahore's fault, its his family's fault that they brought up a kid like that.
Not every Lahori is like that trust me, and its just not lahore im sure people in rawalpindi and quetta and new york would also be like this, but that doesnt mean you blame it on the city.
i know its your loss, but its your fault as well..shouldn't have sent the goodies without the payment being made..its a harsh world, i agree!

i know how it feels to lose money, whether its 1 rupee or 4 thousand rupees, you would want to kill the guy right now, and would definitely be thinking about how someone could do it to you a zillion times every second..but nothing could be done now, just pray that Allah knocks some sense into that persons mind and he accepts his mistake shamefully and returns your money.
otherwise think of it as Sadka which you gave.

Agreed Nd trust I have already listed the money in my Zadqa list:) and I wish this 4000 makes him the richest person on the face of earth.
