Beware.....A fraudster in Lahore

@Murtazee - With the well knit family and friends' setup in Pakistan, I think the easiest and safest mode is to ask someone from your family/friends to strike the deal tet-a-tet with the seller on your behalf, and then send the item to you personally.

On a lighter note, those Chinese thugs on ebay haven't delivered my e-phone (chinese i-Phone) yet, its been 3 weeks. I had my doubts when I looked at the price : 12 dollars but I still went for it. I'm going to ask for a refund from paypal

Everyone here must have lot of free sms...well just start sending him 1 sms/user/day....I think he'll either change his cell # or pay the amount.But he'll come to knw the effects of his ill-dealing.

Dude just get a FIR registered they will ask dewoo to show cctv footage and the guy will be there in footage to receive the item

Not Lahore's fault, its his family's fault that they brought up a kid like that.
Not every Lahori is like that trust me, and its just not lahore im sure people in rawalpindi and quetta and new york would also be like this, but that doesnt mean you blame it on the city.

Its a rule every where that you receive the payment first. then ship the stuff . Its your fault also!! Dude, do ask seek professional advice before doing business over the internet.

This is a public service message for all Pakwheers,

There is a guy named Syed Ali Humayun in Jouhar Town Lahore who is a FRAUDSTER.

I sold my 4 channel Almani Amp to him via Pakwheels for only Rs 4000. Remember this was a brand new Amp and only used for a week. As a goodwill gesture I also gave him all relevant cables including RCA's, power, speaker and also cables for rearview camera.

I sent him everything via Daewoo on 26th of May 2011. That guy promised me to pay ASAP. But that ASAP never came too date and I am not paid yet despite my numerous reminders and his numerous promises.

In my last text I used a little hard language by saying that you have betrayed me and that because of you I will never trust any Lahori now on. I trusted him so much that he himself acknowledged that.

All I want to say is that please beware is this guy named Syed Ali Humayun who lives in Jauhor Town Lahore. He is a fraud and will never pay you if do any sort of business with him.

Forget the payment, these days ecommerce networks have a system called Escrow where payments are held in Escrow till the time buyer does not receivers the equipment. Once buyer has received the equipment then payments are release. In any case payments cannot be reversed till the time judge does not solves the dispute. If the equipment supplied is faulty, then in that scenario payments are again held and case goes to the Escrow judge.

This was all done based on my previouse experience dealing with other PW's and I must say I never had such problem. But you know what, you learn at each cross road in this world and I sure have learnt my lesson. In fact I should thank the guy for a free lesson

Bhai, you are partially responsible for this mishap. You put your blind trust in somebody known to you. This kind of fraud happens everywhere

Just try ordering something direct from ANY chinese source, and you will see your money disappear, and your purchased items will never arrive. There is a reason why Ebay, Amazon, and, aliexpress/alibaba use a third party plan for online selling

I think you need to remove your comment about Lahoris ... It was partly fraud/ partly mistake ... better to apologize ... It is good that you brought a fraud person to the fore, but all Lahoris, including me, must be genuinely offended.

Thats sad Hearing about Your loss but its a rule of thumb that if u sell anything.......just receive payment 1st and then ship.....i bought like tons of stuff and everyone ask for pay 1st.....who believes and knows me can ship earlier but thats KNOWN ones......!!!
