Beware of Honda City Motors (next to daewoo LHR)

I need these nozzles for my city 2007, I checked link road market but they were not available. The ones the guys there had were big and ugly.

I know its weird spending 1500 on those plastic bits but they are an important component.

Try Montgomery road Lahore, You will find a lot of parts dealer who have their own imports. They are less in price but same in quality. :)

And be advised that don’t / never paint your car from any dealership or paint shop who have paint booth in basement i.e. Honda Fort, Toyota Garden etc. The reason behind this statement is that they match your car paint in artificial light and paint the car but when car comes in sun light, new paint will shade different so for matching the new paint with old one they will paint the whole side. It’s happen to me in 2003 when I paint my first car City EXi S AT from Honda fort and found the whole left side painted to cover a small scratch on back door. I only pay and order to paint rear door. :'(<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

mostly this type of cases are Honda dealerships.

Not limited to honda. I took my car to suzuki raiwind. A small part needed replacement but wasnt available so their mechanic offerd 2 remove it from an accidented vehicle, i refused but i guess this is the system of dealerships and u were a victim to that

guys this story is not limited to honda pit shops in lahore..a couple of friends have had such experiences here as well in rwp/isb,in which the the whole side of the car was painted,though they asked for a single panel(door) only..the reason is obvious..they ought to match the paint,and while doin that,they spray the adjacent panels(without potine),and apply lacqer later...a very common practice..once u get yr car checked by some other trustworthy painter,he would open up the hidden secrets!

I don't think this statement has much substance in it because of the following reasons:

First off, as for as matching the color is concerned, it's been made easy by predefined computer coded colors used by all major dealerships. Now they don't need to take off the fuel tank lid to mix n' match the color. So, color matching is no more an issue for new model cars at least.

Secondly, dealerships have been in business for years, they are not too dumb to overlook the sun factor before investing millions in Paint booths.

In my opinion a bad paint job is directly related to the painter's skills, spraying gun used (as mostly they use single spraying gun for different colors) and no. of coats applied.

If they replace human painter with a robot (which requires electricity to operate and very scarce in our country :), I am positive that there will be less inconsistencies in paint jobs.

same with my company's car. they took the items (USB Drive) with gr8 care. however that was recovered via CCTV.

Even though this thread is old. But I would like to share my experience with this showroom. My mother took our 2004 Honda City to this showroom for its 100,000km tuning, but instead of servicing the car. they trashed it. btw this incident happened in 2009.
