plexiglass can be cleaned easily with liquid dish soap like lemon max ... no need to use fancy products ...
Just a precautionBecause of that huge engine in GS, there is very little clearance between front fender plastic tail and frame pipe and they almost touch when you apply heavy brake. With safe guard of this type you might have reduced the clearance even more, so be careful it might cause the handle to jam when applying front brake.
HID in halogen housing.... it's just blinding everyone coming from front. Makes you look like chichura on the road. Get a proper HID housing as well to set it up properly.
Yes you are right But the wielder did the job perfectly fine and there is even enough space when I press the front brake .turning the handle to left or right doesn't touch the guard so it's all safe.

@12guage I had a very hectic duty yestesday, thats y Im replying late.....there are two ways to go about it... U can either buy an expensive plexiglass cleaner and there are plenty out there, or u can go the easy and cheap way(equally effective) In either case, remember that u must always keep your windshield clean and dust free, coz a dusty screen will cause the wind to create very fine scratches on your screen, which will eventually lead to light dispersion and hence poor visiblity, initially at night time from on coming vehicles with high beams and later on even during day lightThe brand i'd recommend is TURTLE HEADLIGHT CLEANER N SEALANT... u can find it at a good store, or i will buy n ship u whenever i go to get my detailing stuff next..... The cheaper cleaner can be made by adding a 2-3 teaspoons(im a doctor so i love these teaspoon measurements:) ) of dish wash liquid to a small Spray bottle and filling it up with clean waterNEVER dry dust your screen with a regular cloth, that is equally harmfull..... Use a moist (and preferably a microfiber) clothI hope that helpsRegards Sent from my GT-I9300 using PW Forums mobile app
I'm just sharing Meguiar's online products prices here (not advertising). So people can get price idea of different products.
Off course prices in local market will be more cheaper.

Bro i don't intend to start a debate here, this issue has been discussed in the car care n detailing section already. Those who can afford, may go ahead and buy Maguiars or Mothers....For those who want to buy slightly less expensive but almost equally good product should go for Turtle ICE series..... It costs about 20-30% less then the former ones and the results r outstanding...

No doubt
I just shared the prices. One have to visit the local shops to get prices. Getting prices right way on your computer is not this better then visiting different shops?
U r rite brother
Hey guys finally got chance to test the product I had bought quite long ago! Here are some pictures of my activity since it was an off day from work... Used Loosen engine degreaser to clean the chain cover and chain of my bike. You guys have no idea how messy it got! But am happy with the end results... the grease and tar was too thick, i used the degreaser and then tryed scrapping it off with a screw driver and this did the trick!
Dont have much pics due to greasey hands! The Product:
BEFORE: It was a very very thick film of this hard grease inside the cover... pics dont tell the situation properly
AFTER:Most importantly, cleaned the drain hole of the cover.. it was totally blocked with tar and no water could let out of it - a possible cause of rust.Inside: Outside:
Voila!
Stay tunned in upcoming weeks for a nice wash and wax session since I am up for some shopping and testing
Gear increasing day by day, would replace everything with quality products only I.A.
you guys should get wolfgang sealant and split it between yourselves. one bottle of wolfgang does 10 cars minimum, so it should do alot of bikes. it is really something special
suggest me cheap and reliable sources for purchasing detailing stuff in lahore... how about hyper star? Filter house is way too expensive they overchatge aot
GUys recommended me a good scratch and swirl remover(AIO)..SHould be available in pindi/isb with actual price..Also i need to buy a set of 5 MF cloths ..Waiting for your suggestions @margallar
mothers scratch and swirl remover is good, but it is not an all in one (AIO), you will have to wax afterwards. it is available for around 1000. meguiars supreme shine microfibres are good, but best to keep an eye on the pakwheels buyers and sellers section for them, there are often very good deals here, much cheaper than the market.
Automotorsport brother excellent work on chain cover i can understand chain can really does gets dirty just some days back i went to mechanic for this same job to clean the chain cover and believe me it was almost 1inch thick dirt inside chain mechanic also used flat head screw driver to clean it I am really impressed with your work on chain cover you really did clean it properly
polished my bikes today. pics will be coming in the morning as its dark and just got done with it. in love with the turtle chrome wax :D.
Everyone is detailing :S
Yeah i do have Turtle wax ice for waxing..I am going short on MF cloths and i need some asap..Hope i can find some
I m using using original turtle ICE products on both my car and motorcycle, and I must say i m totally satisfied with the results. U can get them from SACA Plus, at montgomery road, lahore. They are the only genuine dealers that i know of in lahore and their rates are reasonable too. Pay a visit to their shop and u'll be surprised at the variety of detailing stuff thats available there
