My first post on pakwheels!
I recently cleaned my 2300 km driven Ravi R1. My bike was covered with scratches and the seat was ripped by my cat.
Firstly I got the scratches removed from a painter, he wet sanded my bike, applied cutting cream and then polish. It took away 80% of the scratches. It costed 150rs.
Next I got my a new seat cover for my bike which costed around 400rs.
Then I got these products.
turtle wax was 650rs, Brasso 200rs, wd40 200rs, 7cf 150rs, micro fiber cloth 200rs. All were purchased from Saddar automarket.
First I got my bike cleaned from a service station for 150rs.
I started of with the 7cf spray. Sprayed it on the tires, back mudguard, meter, cables, rubber parts, handles.
Then I started working on the metal parts. Used brasso metal polish.
Finally the last step! Applied turtle wax on painted metal and plastic.
Look at that ugly stuff.
Oh and don't forget to wax the helmet!
For the final protection, I got a bike cover. It's really tight with an elastic band at the bottom. So cats can't scratch my seat anymore.
I'm thinking of adding a polish to my arsenal, because my bike didn't feel 100% clean before waxing.
