Bad luck for us in this tour twice. 1st we miss the Deosai and now we can?t touch our next destination Khunjrab pass the reason again Land sliding. This news we hear from the restaurant where we dinner last night. Again very disappointed, khanae ko kch dill hi nhi kiya yeh sun kr. Subho uthane gae tu situation dakh k plan krne gae jahan tak puhnch skae jaen ge, decided last night. Around 8:00AM everyone ready for khunjrab pass but again bad news came from the local transporters that just 12KM from sust again land sliding in night so now there is no chance to reach khunjrab. yaar wapis chalte hn ab bs bht ho gya sub ki zuban pe bs yehi tha. Shayd qudrat ko yehi mazoor tha?
Start bikes and move towards Gilgit, no plan where to reach or night stay. Even no one ask about the Breakfast. Khunjrab jo miss hogya tha nashta kahan hna tha in sub se?
Around 11:00AM we reached Gulmit where only 10 min stay for refreshment. Load bikes on the boat and cross the Attabad Lake. Around 12:00PM unload the bike and move towards Hunza valley. The weather from sust to Attabad Lake is very cool and the scenery around the Mighty K.K. highway amazing and most beautiful. But from Attabad to Gilgit the weather is very warm. Near karimabad one of the bike got puncture. Tire kiya puncture hwa kuch ki mojaen lag gie. Road k sath hi Apricot (khubani) k tree dakh k. two group fellows shahid and Butt rush towards khubani and pick the most delicious khubani in hunza valley. Permission granted for this act by the sweet lady of Hunza. People of Hunza and Gilgit very nice and beautiful.
We manage to reach Rakaposhi view point around 2:00PM. Some of the group fellow shouts yaar Nashta krlne ab tu?.LOL?. jni yeh breakfast time nhi lunch time hai. Yaar jub breakfst nhi kiya tu lunch b koi nhi krna? with little smile on his face? everyone laughing? chalo nashta krlte hn?
Around 3:00PM free from the breakfast means Lunch and again start journey towards gilgit. Around 5:00pm we manage to reach Gilgit to hunza road and wait for other fellows. After some discussion with group fellow we decide to reach Astor today in night. After some rest start towards Jaglot around 6:00pm reach jaglot fill up the petrol tank from the filling station. Yamaha bike Headlight bulb got fused. Replaced the bulb and the problem solved. Ask some locals about the road condition of Thalechi to Astor?? Bhy 1 hour lgae ga bike pe sirf. Everyone happy! But tension again the raining weather. As we reach Thalechi to Astor road around 6:30pm the mud storm and the raining stop us again. Believe me sub ka rona nikal rha tha. LOL?.
Now again in very tension,,, raat ho jae ge bike pe or is road se koi b waqif nhi tha. Or kitna time lgae ga koi pta nhi or phir barish of yeh tufani raat. Is bar sub keh rhe thae k chalte hn jo hoga dakha jae ga experience to ho hi gya ha night mne travelling ka. Lakin is bar mne Zid kr gya k agae nhi ja skte hum. Bus phir arguments shuru yar chal kch ni hga yeh who bala bala?.. Finally decide to stay night in jaglot and next day early morning depart for Astor. Yaar phir wapis jaglot jana hai ?.FISH?.
Rush back to jaglot before the heavy rain start. Around 7:30PM we r in Jaglot, search Hotel quickly for night stay. Mud or barish ne bura hall kr diya tha humra. Take bath and sleep well? fazool Day END?!
