well, be in nathiya gali or this region for night, at morning start driving on this trek. enjoy the dense forests and nature reach kohala, still there is an under construction road that will make it possible to reach rayala, (a village on opposite side of kohala) from there start driving uphill to reach khanuspur, else u can come back via main express highway to islamabad.
well, no problem with family but avoid traveling in bakot at maghrib time, try to come out of bakot before evening. this jungle is home of leopards.
