the last time I was so excited it was when my daughter was born...it too was a long wait and we did not know if it was a boy or a girl.... Anyway, the NOC has been received and I have checked with the customs people and they say everything is in order so Billo can now return to the land she left 4 years ago.
I have lost count of the times I had to narrate the story to countless government officials about the car going with me to Canada and my intention to bring it back. I can probably repeat the story in my sleep if needed. All I can say is that while the system is slow and people drag their feet, very step of the way there is rule of law and there is hope. It restrengthens my belief in the power of good and gives me renewed hope. It was this belief and hope that made me take the decision to return to Pakistan and while things are tough I am sure it was not a wrong decision.
