Thank you for your words of appreciation. The adventure continues. My son and I arrived this morning and were re-united with Billo in Karachi. There were a few issues but nothing that dampened our spirits. First we found out that the idiot truck walas tried to secure the car in the front by tying a rope to the front stabilizer bar and as a result ripping it out of its sockets. We decided to pull it out of the other side to look at it later only to find that the original fiber wiring cover was missing under the hood. There were several theories but the bottom line is that I am now looking for a wiring cover....
We stopped briefly at Shershah to check out the NOS spare fuel tanks and bought a nice one to carry with us for Rs. 500!
After getting the car washed at a Shell pump we drove to the sea side but did not stay for very long. We are staying the night at Mohsin Ikram's and look forward to the first leg of the rally from Karachi to Gambat
