bmw said they will not register it as it is not a bmw battery

i dont know what they have stuck up there but yeah..

I will take it to INH lahore soon and get it sorted there.

How much will they charge for battery registration? I am asking this since you know Carly app does this task and if your dealer charges similar, you are better off buying the app !

Which Yokohama sizes? I can try and check the prices from the distributor?

Also let me know if you need any parts etc from US, as I have a parcel leaving US in next 7-10 days. We can combine shipping and save costs. It should be in Jeddah approx around 1st March

i really really want to face lift it make it LCI its atleast a 100k buying stuff easy on ebay but UAE is an better option

front lights front bonnet back lights and boot will need changing but will update the car and give it a newer look...

You will need to be more involved in LCI upgrade than just swaps. The LMA will need to be reprogrammed with new modules for the lights modules to work correctly. It is do-able, but not easy, given that you will hardly find anyone local with coding expertise.

I am searching for someone with coding expertise for sometime to fix some issues. These issues cannot be fixed by a simple visit to the dealership, as these are beyond the services they offer.

The upgrades in a Bimmer are not as straight forward, as the Toyotas and Hondas unfortunately.

i have read up on it i will only have issues with the rear lights they will probably flicker when i start the car. but yes they are to be programmed and there is one guy in isloo who should be able to do it. Sattar

the ones i have right now flicker too for 10 seconds when i start the car, and then they settle down

I guess it was not clear enough. The lamps flicker when the LMA module first checks them for compatibility. This can be disabled in coding, so the flickering stops.

I believe the LMA module is also coded specifically with bulb fixture information. Ie The plastic body and relays. I guess without programming, these LMA modules fail to recognise the rear brake lights all together. I know my E60 does not allow it, so even if I fit them, the lights wont work until I code the LMA module. Check your model for specific information.

i have not met the new owner but he happens to have 2 other monsters he has requested me to keep hush about it so i am quite about the new owner
