Aliexpress is very cheap but sometime there's shipping cost, i m looking for RS3 grill for my A3 but its costing 250-300$ with shipping but i dont think if the custom will charge extra or not, although i have ordered few stuff from aliexpress

The easiest solution is to get Carly for BMW app on your mobile. It costs around $80 including adapter, and it can do fault check up and clearing plus a lot of cool coding features as well. It works on Android and iOS.

This is what I have and highly recommend. The only software better than this is with dealers!

It works on Wifi for IOS devices, for Android devices I believe there is a Bluetooth adpater as well as a USB cable.. They supply their own adapters.

I have a generic USB cable which I got from eBay and I use it with my Android system.

I have used the app to read and clear errors, do codings like welcome lights, seat belt alarm disable, reverse light error disable, as well as IDrive warning delete etc. I also used it to clear brake /engine oil etc service interval reminders, as well as register a new battery.

changed coolant added liqui moli radiator cleaner then drained everything then bmw coolant and redline water wetter and proper distill water from a battery shop.

Got the fuel filter changed which took BMW hours to do. I don't know why i thought they would be more experience in this.

Got an injector changed and a coil too. Adding Redline fuel treatment with next full tank.

btw i downloaded carly for mercedes trial version to see if it connects, i used this on my vgate adapter but it doesnt work, even though torque works fine without any additional protocols and my model is on the list of supported variants in the carly app, does it only work with carly's own adapter?

No idea. Since the trial does not work with your adapter, you can be sure that your adapter is not compatible.

I use a generic $20 USB adapter purchased off Some Chinese on EBay, and it works with my Bimmer.

The fuel tank and filter is hidden under the rear seats, one to the left side and other on the other side. To get to it,one needs to remove the lower bench and then it is in front on either side.

1 hour job, even for DIYers.

I know got it done but it took bmw 3 hours to do it and charged me a lot. saying its a long job.

but i have a feeling that i need to change fuel pump too. the car is stalling from 20-40 and then from 60-80

yet it does not do it in sports mode.

these are factory fitted lights i found a very clean pair in sharjah for under 1000 Dirhams i regret not buying it.

I am trying to go for a facelift to LCI but lets see. I do want to move to a 4X4 too, but till i have a buyer walk in i will keep doing stuff keep increasing my demand;)
