Apparently the 335i coupe (AT) that was at the driving event was an early production car. BMW inititally installed oil coolers only in the 6MT sports package cars because they didn't think that AT non-sport pack owners would push the cars too hard.

All 335i's now come standard with oil coolers and the early production cars are being retrofitted. Now why couldn't BMW retrofit oil coolers to the test cars? Anyways, glad the problem is now solved.

Audi's are cool cars, no doubt , very nice to drive, but at the limit that 60 40 ratio really kills the poor thing. I have driven the RS4 and the 335i at laguna seca and for me it was a 335i hands down. I guess anything that costs 50 thousand dollars or more is good regardless of the brand...

DANG! Sorry mate.. the front end resembed the M3 (which is also a coupe btw) and I, for the first time totally neglected the big, (((===BMW 335i vs Audi A5===))) ....
