Just wondering, the extended warranty that comes with BMW approved cars is valid in Pakistan as well ?

Yes, as long as you purchase from BMW and they have a record of who owns the vehicle and where is it.

By the way, this one has a Sports suspension and gearing also fitted it in. Its not just the M sports external kit. It included Sports drive and Sports Suspension.

For the ones which are BMW Approved Used Cars, Yes. Because prior to exporting it, they put it through rigorous checks and identify that warranty is not void. If you buy from open market and put it on high seas then obviously warranty gets void. Once it is a BMW Approved Used Car, they warrant it for export to the new country and is traced by the VIN #.

I have always liked merc but this being a M power 525i it the ultimate driving machine for bmw lover the specs such as the 19inch rims, the sports suspension and seats, with the gear shift its a lovely machine which I have nodoubt will sell at the asking price as its rare to find one this clean and specs plus very low miles.

this 280hp beemer is nothing in front of a 514hp m5 that does 330kph.

I dont understand where do you people get this sort of information.I drive the same car but in diesel in uk,the diesel engine is considered more powerful then petrol cuz of more bhp and turbo..
let me tell you petrol 525 engine is soo **** tht a civic 1.8 manual might get a lead till 60mph cuz of the late gear change..i dont believe its more than 200 or 210bhp being honest.

if a car is a bmw approved car does not mean the car has landed directly from heaven.its a used car driven by people like us.A bmw approved 525i 08/58 rej does not cost more than 15000pounds in england approx 20 lakh pak rupee if you add the custom duty ie approx 25 lakhs,it totals upto 45,clearing fwding +plus freight max upto 2 lakhs,the car price totals upto 47lakhs.sir if you really have an offer of 83lakhs please let me know about the buyer ill give him a new shape bm525 M-tec for the same price,its always better to buy a new shape rather than driving a car that is also used in uk as mini cab service.
ps i dont understand why some people have a fantasy of such over charging the prices,i dont belive the car worth more than 55-57lakh rupees.

That time will tell Sir. I am in no hurry to sell.... Unless she gets what it's worth.... I don't mind keeping it for another year because its a marvellous piece and I love the drivetrain and the options in it. Moreover, the Euro will increase in a while and so will the price my friend. I got it at 115/Rs. and today it is 118.5 and in sometime will go up more. And perhaps it will be better priced in Jan.

Anyway. Let time unfold this.

thanks for your info sir,i didnt have a look at the ''Special specs'' that is that it has a rocket fitted button as well as all the options the z3 had in the movie mission immpossible,truely a james bond car..

Ive changed upto 3 BMW 5 SERIES 520-525-and 525D i really dont belive thers anything so special about that car.i think the only considerable options i would belive is its mtec,an approved car and its year and low millage thats it.

Sir, I think I am not able to communicate properly. For me to give you the right answer, I must ask you the right questions:

1. Did you buy your vehicle in Pakistan?

A. If Yes, did you buy the vehicle which was imported from abroad by a dealer or by an individual for personal use?

A1. If brought from the dealer, did the dealer purchase it from BMW or bought it from the open market?

A1A. If the dealer bought from BMW, did he get the vehicle registered in their system as export to Pakistan or BMW has no information where this vehicle is going?

A2. If bought from an individual in Pakistan, did the individual buy it through Dewan or imported it himself directly?

A3. If the individual has imported himself directly, did he/she purchase through BMW or through an open market?

A4. If bought from the open market, did he get the vehicle registered for export from BMW in that country and got it registered for export to Pakistan?

A5. If bought from BMW in that country, did the individual inform them about his details as the new owner and to which country it will be exported?

1. Did you buy your vehicle from abroad?

A. If from abroad, from open market or BMW?

A1. If open market, did you run the details through BMW?

A2. If through BMW, did you inform them of the new owner details and the country to which it will be exported?

Please answer the above for me and give me time to reply back.

I wouldn't bother replying back because your estimate of 2.5million as duty is absolutely absurd. lol

I know what my cost has been in actual and what I am charging.

Anyway, anyone wants to have a costing done for a BMW, you can let me know and I shall give you the cost of your car in Pak Rs.
