Importing a new car is almost impossible now. Because the cars currently at KHI port for clearance they are not further allowed by the Govt. Also 50% further taxes other than duty etc are imposed on the cars which will be imported after sep 08.
Also Dollar is way to high now. So be careful before importing a new ride.

I have to this conclusion in going thru the replies that we are almost crazy about our possessions and obsessions !!! Such a love for life is overwhemingly danagerous and is sure to lead us to a life that will end with regrets in this life and thereafter. Have we ever thought for a second what Allah want from us ? What is the purpose He bestowed upon us ? What will we get in this world and thereafter annoying HIM ? Karroon, Numrud, Firrun and such used to have treasures bigger than Bill Gates, today they are remembered as the most unfortunate and most regrettable personalities. Want to know why ???

That’s the best decision you made and you will not regret it.
By the way I don’t understand the theory about being “married and driving a convertible.”
I think there is nothing wrong with having a convertible if you are married.
Especially your car is a 4 Seater having enough space for your future kids too inshallah so don’t worry be happy and ENJOY your new Life Experience.
By the way I know a Gentleman who drives a Merc. Convertible and is a Tablikhi.
