The original bulbs. Quite possibly 22 years old !!
The seal was intact and i didn't have to take it off.
I pointed the whole thing towards the sun to see which bulbs i was missing
There were three plugs like these that go behind the cluster and i must say they are a kind of female dogs to take off
Ran off to buy the bulbs without the cluster in place the reason i didnt buy before hand was because i wasn't sure what exactly i ll need.
Couldn't find exact same ones i needed. OEM ones to the left, the ones i could find to the right. Fitted perfectly and were of the same wattage etc
There are three bigger bulbs which illuminate the cluster over all. Although they were working but bulbs were dull and too dirty so i got all 3 new.
There you go!! The final result !! There are two dark spots in the speedometer but I can live with that. Over all its much better and i can properly read the mileage figures
30 mins in out, completely worth it !!

i remember the old days back in 2004 my dad bought a 318i coupe maybe 97/98 or older model it was also a gem , But you have done all that work pretty decently Ma-Sha-Allah Congrats on ride + Ugrading !
