The only tool kit i have/used.
Left the car like that while i was working on the lights in my room.
These are fixed in place by silicon. i used a small blade to cut the silicon and then cleaned the silicon as much as i could from the edges because i had to put new silicon on them to put em back in.
Clean lenses and housing. Sorry could not take too many pix because my hands were messy.
Some products i used
The glass was badly chipped due to sand hitting it heads on for years. I polished it using rotary but it didn't help much. did improve it a bit though
Time to install the lenses back in
The silicon applied is not neat but it doesnt matter as this place is not in sight.
Its finally coming back nicely. Excellent DIY's.
Ready to be fitted back. Sorry no pix during fitting due to obvious reasons I am a 1 man crew
Also installed the fog lights which were sitting in the trunk for more then a year
polished the amber turn signals. Many times i have thought of buying clear turn signals but every time my love of keeping cars as OEM stops me
Hows that
The cut off line shows perfectly now. not in this pic obviously but...
The wiring and button for fog lamps was OEM. when turned on, this green light shows up in the cluster
The final outcome. My GOD was I proud of all that effort
