Its sad to see the way tow hook was used on the wheel to hold the car on flat bed truck. They should use straps.

Thank you Fazal bhai. Well I have no defined future plans. I have already done a lot of work on the car including some small DIYs. I have a lottt of stuff to do in my mind but not sure if i will do that or upgrade the car before that, so i would not list future plans, instead, just share what i have done already

As for the flat bed hooks, well, nobody cars about cars here. Seriously, i ve seen brand new Bentley's being transported like that, this car in local terms in a piece of junk, so no one would care about that The flat bed owners don't even keep the straps.

Well, it was mostly my own idea so friend's recommendation was only a small 'kick'. 200k kms aren't really that much. The engines of these cars are so well made they can easily last 2-3 lakh MILES. This one just had 115k miles.

But yes, i have already surpassed the budget set apart for it by a mile. But then its fun to work on a car. that's the whole point. Yeah a 2jz in Pakistan would be inevitable in most cases but i wouldn't have done that even there

It was time for an oil change! This is the OEM BMW oil that the previous owner was using. I did not want to change the oil so got the same. I don't know why it comes only in 1 ltr packs. Total capacity is 6.5 ltrs and costs about 250 AED for each oil change compared to just 90 to 110 AED oil change for CIvics etc including the oil filter.

Engine was dry and clean, no oily mess on it

Since i had been using the car for a while after the hot water undercarriage wash, the oil had reached down there again!

But over all, look at how mostly everything is so clean compared to the pix on previous pages when the suspension was being worked on!

Then, I thought i should try out a little bit of interior cleaning. Note that the car's a/c is still not working as I was using the civic mostly and did not get the time to get more work done.

I sprayed the liquid onto different areas and rubbed with a tooth brush

After cleaning the liquid with a cloth, this is what comes up!
