The 2 Series is a cool car. It's fast and responsive, and the 4 cylinder turbo is actually really strong in the mid-range. The power delivery is perfect and it doesn't seem like it's overwhelming. I wonder how the 235i is. I've driven that 3.0L turbo in a few different variants, but not in a smaller wheelbase.
I think at this stage, I don't really need a $40k car. Maybe a couple of years down the line, but right now it's not necessary. Plus, the cabin is pretty bog standard and you can get the same sort of tech in other cars for much less money. Okay, a lot of cars don't handle like this one does, but the price for this handling is a bit high.
I've recently been considering (just considering) the 500 Abarth. Lease specials on it are pretty enticing, though I probably won't get it in the end. Don't really need a car atm since I live in a big city, and I can get around fine without one. But you never know, I may just take the plunge and get something!
