Dear INDIA is very similar to PAKISTAN .yes we have come a long way and the development on both sides of the border has been massive..
yes we do have load shedding but as @yusha pointed big cities like MUMBAI ,NEW DELHI ,BANGALORE and others are in far better shape than small cities and town....
AND yes we can buy sugar whenever and wherever we want to buy it.(curios as to y you asked that)

Obviously there is load shedding in India. Power requirements are not met that easily. Who is standing in line for flour? When was there a shortage of petrol (not mentioning CNG)?

There has been tremendous economic growth in India. However with its over whelming population, it can cannot meet its basic requirements like food and shelter for all. Its very similar in Pakistan. I live in Pakistan and I can tell you there is no reason why a person would sleep hungry at night. We are facing more of moral and social problems rather than economics.

The flour and sugar falls short because people store it in warehouses (artificial shortage). The power production capability is still enough to provide electricity all over Pakistan 24hrs (but we have circular deficit, because hungry politicians have no interest with the situation).

There would be really dirty places in Mumbai too (the slums) not covered by Bombaywala. But you see the roads at least they are clean, tidy. That is social behavior of people, what we are lacking.

Thanks, Nick. Your TATA dealer should have the whole range of 1:43 scale models. Most dealers also stock the 1:18 Nano (in yellow and white).

Like the others have already explained, there are towns and villages across the country that still deal with the menace that is load-shedding, but that's changing too. I live in Bombay, and I'm struggling to remember the last time there was an electricity cut here.

Petrol is super expensive here at almost INR 80/litre, and sugar, flour, and other basics are easily available at corner shops and supermarkets nationwide.

What is this building that is under construction called? It looks as wide as burj ul khalifa. Is it going to be the tallest building in india? Looks like it can go over 100 floors easily, just by looking at how thick and wide it is looking compare to other buildings

The massive building you're talking about is the 70+ storeyed Palais Royale under construction, and by the looks of it, it hasn't been topped out. For now, the Imperial Towers are the tallest in the country, but not for long - World One (117 floors), and the India Tower (125 floors), apart from countless 50 - 80 storeyed towers are under construction all over the city and its suburbs.

Since you asked, I did a bit of searching, and found these - the first being a render of 'World One', and the second, of the 125-storeyed 'India Tower'...
