Booking a new Honda City

I have few questions regarding booking new Honda City.
1. I want to book new Honda City 2025 model. Is it advisable to book it in Dec 2024 or I wait for Jan 2025 to book for that model. Sales person at Honda says booking date doesn't matter what it matters is the model.

Is there any news that Honda is launching new model in 2025 that is different from 2024?

invoice date is the model date. if you book now, there are high chances you will get a vehicle invoiced in december 2024 to book revenue by the manufacturer current year and delivery in early january. Happened with me, my alto was supposed to be delivered in end of january 2022 however, i got delivery in first week of january with invoice of 31dec2021 - meaning, with just one day my model was 2021.

There is a chance of a hybrid model coming from Honda that I read on the forums here, but no certainty on what model. That would definitely bring a price premium too though, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

i booked in Sept 2021 - the peak time of premium culture on cars. it was around 1-1.5lac premium on alto. got 4 month delivery time

I contacted Honda Show room and they say if I book for 2025 now then car will be delivered in January with invoice of same date.
No rush on cars these days. There is no own (profit) at the moment.

They will definitely give you 2024 as there are no sales. Wait and book on 1st January.

Can anyone confirm what is the on amount on HOnda city base variant CVT? I was under the opinion that there is currently no own however to my surprise when I visited one of the honda showrooms near me, he quoted me 130K own for city and a booking time of 2 months.

Look for a dealer far away from the city area. You should be able to get a good deal.

City is mostly available on ready delivery they are probably trying to bluff ramzan / Eid.

What I've heard off is premium is on Suzuki alto and Swift GLX only. Also cultus since it's never available for booking except for corporates.

Currently premium is being charged for yaris and City due to delivery time of 2 months.
