Bought myself a new ride

MASHALLAH bro i had the same ride but was a 2009 model and in Flexcin mica loved it was giving me 16km/l locally but due to drivers the car was spoiled only at 16000km and had to sell it to my uncle...

mashAllah bro uve got an awsome ride unfortunately uve to sell her due to drivers negligence but its a beast providing features as well as economy my ride is giving me almost 18km/l and am shocked and really doubts that wether a gli or city can give 18km/l on petrol or not ?

"TOTAL KM ON FULL TANK" DIVIDED BY "TOTAL LITRES FILLED ON NEXT TOPUP"

860 / 48.37 = 17.77 km/L

car trip meter pic showing 860km accidentally got deleted by my cousin so appologies for that :(.isnt it a good average keeping in mind its a 2000cc powerfull fuel sucking engine ? my question to u all is that can a corolla Gli/Xli which are 1300cc achieve such average on petrol ?

Well First of all, Late Congratzz on Buying a beautiful Beast, to me the corrola's big body is meant for these Big Engines! Your Ride is very Great, Just add Original Fog Lights to it, & keep your ride Full-time Maintained & Grippy, Cuz if you don't care of Especially a diesel Engine, it sounds Really Bad after some years of Non Caring Use!

As for your query, Don't have great knowledge about Corolla's diesel engine, but know this for confirm
1.Scientifically, Diesel engine gives much more output than petrol engine, Consumes 35%-38% of fuel & don't contains spark Plugs,while petrol engine just 25-26% So I think its great average
2. Coming to facts, comparing average to Counterparts:
Corrola 1.6 Dual VVTi (11-11.5km) Avg
Civic 1.8 i-VTEC. (10-11km) Avg
Civic Hybrid 1.3Ltr (19-20.5km) Avg
City 1.3 iVTEC (15-16Km) Avg
Dont have idea about, Xli Gli, Cuz none of my Cuzns or friend have it!

So to my point of view, it is giving you a very great average!

2 channel amp audiobank 1200watts (according to shopkeeper its japanese) u guys can tell if its genuine or fake ?
Kenwood genuine speakers 718ex (shopkeeper suggests that 718ex are better then classic 718 in deeper bass)

sound quality and bass improves dramatically

Well yarr, People aren't buying 2.0D Bcuz of these reasons:
1.High diesel prices than the Petrol.
2.Most of the petrol cars are on CNG, Even cheaper than Petrol.
3.High registration & token prices of 2000cc car.

So people aren't buying it cuz of regular & owning high costs, Well im not sure but may be the Prices comes on equal level of both petrol & Diesel, Still CNG is affordable, No doubt CNG is a crappy Fuel & Not best for Engine's long life, But most people believe on Saving regularly than Life time.

Aslam o alykum dear pakwheelers ... today by the grace of God almighty ive bought immaculate condition 2008 model Corolla 2.od saloon sunroof version in medium silver colour mashAllah ... ive got it for 15 lacs priviously ive been inclined towards corolla gli version drived it (2011) hated it i.e no power no features and costs with number reaches 1750k which i think is too much ... but then i drive my uncles car it changed my perception enjoyed its thrilling drive feel power with lots of basic features which lacks in xli/gli like

Airbag
Moonroof
Power windows
Eps steering
Abs brakes
Genuine toyota alloy wheels
Optitron meter
Factory leather seats
Pioneer fh-p6050ub cd + usb player

Ur ride has make me think I should have gone for a same rather getting an underpowered GLi :S
