Bought New 2014 Honda city...Suggestions and Help

You could have easily brought it to isbd without any issue
I bought a civic from honda gateway and drove it to isbd without any invoice or papers.
got the invoice after 8 days

Did you come back on the motorway? I called the motorway police and they said no Applied for cars... and I didnt want to come the GT road route cause of the Qadri issue

Heartiest congratulations. M happy you bought a sedan as your first Vehicle and that too, brand new.

Register it From Islamabad because if you Intend to live here, it'll be easier to get through Police checks and have a Better and quicker resale too. Cost ov registration does differ with Islamabad being the costlier one but it pays well at the end. Cost ov registration can be told only once you tell the Price you paid.

Let the Euro tires be; they appear to have improved in the past few years.

You could have easily made your own number plates and made it to home. My number plates were just an A-4 paper...came back from Islamabad using the motorway.

MashAllah and congratulations! I hope you enjoy the car and drive safely. Just a suggestion; when you tint the car windows please do not get the rear window tinted as the tint paper will render the rear defogger non operational. Use a screen shade or curtain in the rear.

Thank you! Went to lahore looking for used since its a bigger market... after seeing all the frauds people were using to sell their cars decided to buy new as the price difference wasnt too much.... Honda Fort is owned by uncles friend so decided to buy it from there... Wife wanted black and they had one available... thankfully no OWN

Thats great...same happened with me two months back...so ended up in buying zero meter black city with Nav feom Honda Centre Rwp...no Own as well...2010-11 in immaculate cond was available for 14+ and brand new with Nav for 1570500/-...so obviously went for new...atleast peace of mind and ultimate satisfaction...and above all feel of brand new

gave me the entry card and took the money at the exit toll plaza

Congratulations on your new purchase. Its looking very nice. The first thing is you could have brought your car back on motorway with you. All you need was the invoice. Since you have left it there next time when you go to collect the papers bring your car back as it is. Get it registered in your home town as it is easier to pay the yearly taxes etc and Islamabad registered cars have better amd quicker resale. About the tyres if you can, switch over to a better brand as eurostars are very hard tyres. Leave them on for a few thousand kms and your car will develop strange noises + alot of road noises.
I have experienced this personaly. So this time when we bought 2014 civic went straight from showroom to tyre shop to get eurostars changed. Personally I switched them with yokohama advan db v551 its a very soft tyre. And one more thing stick to the stock tyre size otherwise it has effects on fuel consumption. Enjoy your new car.

Better get the tires changed ASAP since you will get good price for new tires. I would recommend Yokohama.

Get the car registered from Islamabad. Better resale, and token payment will be easier.
