Salam pakwheelers,
Had all brake pads changed in my Corolla 2015 gli today and it costed me:
Front brake pads(Genuine)- Rs 11,500
Rear brake pads(Genuine)- Rs 6000
Rotors resurfaced (Front) - Rs 1000
After 21k kilometers of rough driving here is what the front brake pads look like:
Reached the bare metal so i was lucky brakes did not fail
The new brake pads:
I had all the work done at home by paying a little extra and it was worth it, I highly recommend my mechanic to all those who want work done with peace of mind. The calipers were pushed back in properly with tools instead of using a screw driver like many mechanics do and the sliding pins were lubricated with high temperature grease.
Lastly, after topping up the brake fluid, I thoroughly checked the brakes with a test drive and they are great now. Always go for genuine brakes as they really do make a HUGE difference as compared to chinese/ local brake pads.
