Braking Problem :( brake booster issue ?!

U should check the pressure/vaccum control valve/switch or may be the valve between booster and power steering pump.

problem fixed booster was replaced and its working fine now.

I have also taken my faulty booster back mechanic says it unusable now and cant be opened and sealed again like that.. tell me is it repairable..?

Glad u solved the problem. How much did the brake booster cost and did u do it from the same guy that Ser_GTR recommended?

well i paid 4500 which includes booster cost and labor.
it was replaced with 2006 vitz brake booster.

it was done by my own mechanic..he is a true geek and expert mostly works on imported cars which normally others dont touch. he explained me what was the problem and i was very impressed with his knowledge.

guyz recommended by ser_gtr was also an expert nothing wrong with him but since both thought it was the same issue so i preferred my own man. one thing more the car pickup is very good now and i don't hear that noise any more.. happy man now

Well dere is diaphragm inside booster which get leaked...it keeps on loosing vacuum......!thats what happen with it.....!
After that....whole thing is good now (y).....!

That was a beautiful booster that you have changed.
Its hard to find such a good one.
I had similar one in my 82 Corolla that the mechanic has changed.
Its still lying somewhere in my home.Had tried 2 more in the last 7 years but that one is awesome the car stopped at an instant u only need to master yourself with that one.

humm yes but i have also replaced it with orginal one but you are right not as perfect as it was before just a slight difference.. infact i have forgotten how to brake i was driving very slow and rarely used brakes during that 7-8 days so i am adjusting again how to brake.

My mechanic also said that normally after replacing the booster the brake never performs as it was before but he has done his best to keep it in that shape. so i just feel slight difference or i feel no difference. as it is replaced with a better one
