It was 50KM/H . And accidents do happen.. And iam a good rider but sometimes accidents do happen.. BUt we should avoid criticizing particular events

i can't understand one thind that is why have they given 160km/hr speed on the speedometer when the bike hardly touches 100km/hr.i doubt many statements here regarding strom reaching 125km/hr etc and as far as cgs are concerned most or i should say majority of them have altered sprokets and the bikes arent all stock.

Absolutely right bro....maine to Atlas Honda ko is silsiley mein letter bhi likha tha ke CG125 Dlx ki speedometer range 160 hai jab ke bike 95Km tak jati hai mushkil se....CD100 ki meter range 140 hai jab ke CD100 ki top speed 80Km hai... Believe me officials mein se koi bhi satisfactory jawab nahi day saka, pz guys write them and claim as much as you guys can do..........tab hi shayed in pe koi asar ho verna ye koi change nahi laane waley, chalti ka naam gaari..........inki sale achi khasi chal rahi hai isliye inhe customer ka koi khyal nahi

first of all they buy meters from companies that callibrate it well above the rated speed..its a marketing gimick .. as a matter of fact honda cd 70 gives max of 80 km.hr and its meter is callibrated for a top speed of 120 km.hour.. and as u mentiond is the case with other makes as well..

now i ask one thing from khanthegr8 as u have pretty good experience on almost all local bikes..
what is the top speed of honda delux that it achieves..
and what is the advertised top speed
and what is its meter calibrated to

i think there are pretty much bottlenecks there if it realy is advertised 80km/hr..
one could play with its carb.. intake manifold.. ports.. exhaust.. and cdi..

can u tellme the top speed of cg and dlx that u hav actually attained.ive heard that cg or dlx max speed is 100-105km/hr no matter how hard one tries to push them futher,is it so ?if not wats the top speed? as far as i know u have kept alot of 125s , if im not wrong.

Mera personal experience to saaf saaf words me ye hai ke '' kisi bike ki fitting aesi set hui hoti hai, lohay ki dhalayi keh lo ya parts ki fittings any means.....baharhal koi bike start se hi best performance deti hai, maine almost 2010 se ab tak almost 20 CG125 sale kiye hain brand new lay kar or sab per apne severe test kiye hain, mera sabse bada test top speed hota hai i want a honda bike which give me 100+ top speed, kafi bikes ne ye speed di lekin aksar silencer per shoes ke nishan par jate hain jiski waja se i sell whole bike.......main jaaali wagera pasand nahi karta i like bike with naked silencer....anyway coming to the top speed issue jo jo bikes perfect assembled hon wo to start se hi best chalti hain or pura pura meter marti hain chahe running phase ho ya after running they always achieve 100+.... 3-4 Cg aise bhi thay jo exact 120 karte thay and blv me neglectable vibration at 120km/h even ...... bike ka stroke bhi zbrdast 120 ki speed per bhi silencer chankaar marta tha ke kaleja nikal jaye insan ka........or jo perfect fit nahi nikalti unki chahe running karlo 40 per chala chala ker wo top speed achieve nahi karte mushkil se 90 tak jate hain ya mar ke 95 tak.......
Dlx ki top speed 97km/h hai is se ziada ye nahi jata maine 4 liye hain ab tak or almost sab ki same performance, no matter aap gear khainch k lagao ya soft shifting
