Indeed, bro.The guys have actually worked their asses off on this car.
The finish on front bumper is perfect however it’s not matching to the car itself.
Downside of that paint, it's not gonna last longer and it's hard to maintain.
How are the apex seals holding up..... Oh wait 1j, nvm . This was slow but it came out pretty well. Congratulations bro.
Bro the bumper was going to match after the final coat and its matching the car now, the entire car's got a satin finish now, the proper one actually. Once I'm done with the construction & renovation work at my place, I'll finally get some time to take better pictures and of course a video will be there as well.
I know bro, will do something to get it protected because I need to keep it like this for a while
It was way too slow bro, honestly, I thought of giving up and selling the car because I wasn't getting the time to complete it but then, my dad asked me to wait more because he was sure that it'll be worth the wait and well, he was right. He's more happier than I am
Tell me how it looks after a couple of washes and a month of driving and getting parked in sunlight. You'll either end up getting it warped or getting it matte showered very frequently and periodically. These paintjobs are very short lived. Try getting a proper paint job and call it a day!
Jz's kill the beauty of chassis geometry specifically in rx8's. Ps: There are unbreakable Guppy apex seals that you can get and forget about blowing them.

Well, the long wait part is true, after you started the project, I bought my first car and sold it and then bought my second car in the meantime. But the end result does look great, and it's not a typical renesis powered rx8 so it is undoubtedly unique, purists will be purists though and even though you got the car with the jz already in, I have to admit there is something about rotaries, the scream at the strato redline and all
I agree , but I personally think that this was more of a save the poor abused thing kind of project. It already had signs of abuse that are typical of a ricer gnorrea affected local. Signs like "jz raKhWAnA Hai iSs mEiN" or "fiBrE glass pAyNel" without even caring for real potential like a turbo 2j/1j with a getrag trans.
If done right, I'm not totally against JZ swapped Rx8's. I was among first guys in this country who did those very first rx8 jz's. I used to have Tokyo Drift Rx8 back in days and got it 1jzgte swapped. Fact is that, there's no point of running NA jz's. Stock rx8 transmission is junk, stock rear differential is trash. There are so many things that require to get done and that makes it go sheeet expensive and that's why people just simply ditch the idea of going that route.
I couldn't agree more. I want to add though, that some of our people who are filthy rich have been known to be arrogant in many cases. I remember there used to be someone with a stock 3sgte in a 10 gen corolla on a Facebook page about 4 years ago. Claimed he had "the fAstEst Dumba shape corolla".

Thanks a lot bro & really sorry for the delayed response. It's been 2 weeks that the car's home but I didn't get the time to update the thread, I'll be posting some good pictures after a wash for sure! I've waited for a long time to get this project finished & finally she's home, it was a treat to drive her, although I couldn't enjoy it properly due to the old tires but still, the power is amazing!
Immad, I've been a fan of your cars bro, tried connecting with you quite a few times on facebook as well but never got a response. I know I'll be needing to get her a proper paint job but since I won't be using it much, I'm waiting to save up for something better since going for just a paint job will never be my thing for a car that I've worked so hard on. It's been a mess but it's been a treat too. I'll get it wrapped till I don't get a paint job done. Thanks for taking out your time to read the thread & respond to it, bro! =)
Btw, since the RX is back home, I needed another car to play with, so I got a dirt cheap deal for an Accord 3G - 1989 I've started the thread & will be handing it over to the workshop tomorrow, so here's the link, show some love!
It's been a while
Just responded you on Facebook mate, thanks for the kind words. Always up for the help!
