Bro I'm not in Lahore, won't be going back till the elections because the owner of mactec is busy with campaigns as well
Oh well, slow and steady then. Steady on!!
Yes, I guess its worth the wait.
Okay guys here's an out of city update, the mechanic called me yesterday and the car has started. He's waiting for me to get back to Lahore on Friday so that I can take a drive and see if there are any issues. So I'll most probably update you guys on Sunday as I'll visit the workshop on saturday. The bodywork will be done from Islamabad since the mechanical work took this long just because I couldn't visit the workshop regularly and wanted everything to be done right infront of my eyes. So these were the latest updates.
Toyota Tundra Platinum Edition, spotted this yesterday in F-10
Took this picture from MACTEC's facebook page, the car is finally done, just waiting for the final mechanical touches, will be inspecting for any leakages or mechanical issues to ensure that the car is mechanically complete & done.
Mashallah she looks beautiful
Have to say, the wheels although very generic looking, look really unusually good with the red rx8 with its early new millennial design. Those came stock on these right?
Thanks a lot bro =)
Yes they were stock, my car's sitting on 17" original wedssports, I'm not sure if I'll be changing them. My main goal was to get the car on road, Insha'Allah this Friday it will be. Now the car will be in Islamabad for its bodywork, Insha'Allah.
Any Plans for a change in colour with the body work? Silver/grey metallic might look nice
You'll see bro, let's keep the body work a surprise.
**Dead ** ?
Still alive, the mechanical called me on my birthday after ignoring my calls & texts for 4 constant days. He told me that I need to get a new set of wiring for my engine & a new garter as well. It's highly unprofessional that these guys aren't doing anything behind my back although I've paid 80% advance of the entire job. Will be visiting the workshop on Monday Insha'Allah as I'll get back to Lahore.
Bumppp
any update bro?
Sorry guys, have been hell busy. Finally got time to visit the workshop yesterday, the wiring has been given to the electrician to renew it as the new wiring was terribly expensive. The guys were demanding 18-20k along the ECU which was useless so I'm counting on my electrician for this. The engine and new suspension have been fitted in the car, just needed the wiring and the car will start breathing Insha'Allah. Here are the pictures from yesterday.
The engine is still not in the proper position as it hasn't been wired up yet. But this is what the engine bay looks like now.
The exterior ATM.Some guy bumped his bike into the fender and broke his fingers. But finally the car is mechanically done, masha'Allah its got its standard height now, earlier it was lifted from the front, more like as if it is about to take off itself for a flight
Chrysler 300C Limo was in the house too.
