A K24 setup in RX7 or RX8 will be a project of its kind, but too expensive. Why not go for a Honda body for the setup?

Only honda i think of is s2000 but they are very rare and another thing is they are convertible so less rigid chassis. Many people go for 1jz/2jz but i don't want to because 1 weight and 2 they are very common. 1 thing i am confused on is should i get thr stroker kit and build the engine here or get a prebuilt engine from because i don't think any mechanic is capable of reboring the engine with cnc machine

No updates as of yet as I just got back to Lahore. Will visit the mechanic on Monday Insha'Allah, a relative is on ventilators so not sure about anything. She's on her last stage of cancer.

SHOULD I GET RX8 FOR DAILY USE WITH ROTARY OR SWAPPED WITH 1JZ OR 2JZ ?

Walaikum Asalam, its better you swap it. RX8 isn't a daily driven anyway unless you've got enough money to throw at the fueling stations for the refuels. Just the rotary is problematic and that too, in Pakistan. Otherwise RX8 is a great car.

The relative passed away yesterday. Now I'm back to Islamabad so the updates are that the car's engine wiring has been done, they've cleaned up the engine bay and the car will soon have the engine in it's bay. No pictures since I didn't visit but I will definitely in a week or so. I'm not sure if they should put in the engine before the body work.

Just don't swap a jz engine go for another engine. I recommend checking the weight of the rotary and buy a engine that matches the weight the reason why RX8 and 7 are so sought after because of their 50/50 weight ratio which makes it an awesome handling car swapping a jz will ruin that

Apart from fuel can i drive it on rotary or not ?
What about 2jzgte ?
Or 1jzgte would be enough ?
If na can i go for 2jz
And will it make the traction control dynamic stability control inactive ?

You can but the maintenance is a pain, you can swap 1jzgte or 2jzgte. There's not much of a difference between both these engines, 2jzgte is hard to find and really costly if you find one with a r154 gearbox. It won't deactivate any function as long as you have the RX8's original ECU computer linked.

That's because they don't research before a swap, I read around 100 threads before even buying the shell.

Indeed. The ride quality is matchless and this was the car that beat the Mercedes S class & BMW 7's market in the US when it was launched back in 1989.

Just saw doug demuro's review on the 1990 LS pretty nice car and quite a few quirks too. Is your car the same as the one he reviewed? I mean is the trip meter digital put tge odometer manual?

Yes it's the same. This is a 1993 btw, 1989-91 had braking issues, the brakes rotors were smaller in size which made Lexus call back all the cars in the US. In 1992 all these issues were fixed.
