Every kid who doesn't know what a Switzer P800 here is an idiot. Google it, and shut the hell up.

The aggressive gearing the GT-R, coupled with a boosted and nitrous'd engine would easily give a Veyron with longer gears and more weight to deal with a run for its money.

No GT-R is "hand built" to beat a 1000hp Veyron. Believe me, I've seen boosted GT-R's run on the track. This sounds nothing like stock.

1. Yes i would also want to see a video of that race , but the fact is that no such video exists or as far as i know. To make things clear i am talking about a straight line top speed race with the same R35 shown in the video vs Formula 1 car that is tuned for Monaco Circuit (just to reflect the importance of tunning of car for a specific reason)

This video seems to be made with a specific intention of dishonoring Veyron. They should have shown the speedo of the veyron while the GTR was disappearing in the horizon.

how can you say bugatti is not properlytuned

its that car which has lots and lots of test before taking to the showroom
all tested and tunning are done separately with spending time on it ,
every thing is accurately tuned when its out of the factory

oh comon guyz just check out the other videos on youtube, just write dragtimes.info and u gonna see some more races b/w the gtr and veyron and man veyron nails the gtr. infact there is 1 more gtr in white which can also be seen in those vids and that 1 is also heavily moded but still losses to veyron. the best thing i like abt gtr is the gear shifts man it's insanely quick.

When you watch racing results like these, please do also consider the weight : power ratio. Bugatti, is not one of the lightes car either, despite it's 1001 horsepower. Remember the TOP GEAR race, Bugatti against McLaren?

McLaren must have been in the lead, for atleast half the length from the starting, until the Bugatti turbos finally kick in strong and give the elephant a boost.

This Skyline is tuned by Switzer at 800hp, using Ethanol(Racing gas) and more Boost presure.
I do not know exact Horse power of the skyline producing in this Video, but it is enough to disgrace the Bugatti
And if i am not wrong i think this race took place in Germany .

Top speed of a car just does not depends upon how much horsepower it has , it depends on a lot of thing .

1. Horsepower
2. Longer final drive ratio
3. Drag coefficient
4. Torque.
5. Suspension setup
6. Weight

Yes i do agree , but that race was done with a stock R35 .

The following GTR-35 in the video is tuned by Switzer and is known as P800 (800HP) plus with nitrous injection , which brings the cars HP up to 900 to 1000 HP.

So you are saying that it is only a matter of time (long race) that Bugatti will pass the Skyline . Hmmm !!! it is possible but the chances seems very slim for the Bugatti ..... Why you ask , because of Bugatti bad fuel consumption.....12 mins and the tank is empty. In the other words the R35 has to just use its nitrous injection wisely and make Bugatti run out of its fuel
