The engine bay rust
This is the current condition of the engine bay.Rusted, messed up with wires and what not.

The tow hook was badly rusted, it was literally hanging there, got it fixed as well.

The current floor pans are badly rusted, therefore, replacing them with brand new floor pans.

i think the patch can only provide the assurance that something was done ..
i dont think it helped the frame integrity or any cosmetic improvement...
the rust just seems extensive, replacing whole part would provide better control and peace of mind
Yes, I believe you're right @xenerking It is just there, the patch obviously didn't provide any reinforcement/intefrity, but this is not the final picture, the doors are still being worked on, the lighter rust will be cleaned up using grits and then we'll decide whether the door needs to be replaced or it'll work with some basic repairs.
rust of doors wont bite, its the frame which looks troubled and fragile to a level which need/require bold decisions to be made

The frame doesn't needs replacement, I've consulted my denter and he said that he's working on reinforcing it so that the car stays stable and doesn't loses the road grip even at higher speeds and turns.
