No, Alhamdulillah no threat from anyone as such, but because bomb blasts are getting so frequent nationwide, I guess I might want to think about owning a bomb proof car.

Armored cars are really strong in terms of body strength, right, so wouldnt that eliminate the crumple zone concept?

^^Whats the point of being bomb proof if it needs crumple zones to keep the cabin occupants safe. The sheer mass does the job.

Ever seen any of those craters they keep showing on tv at the site of explosion :P. If it doesnt suvive a concrete wall then it wont be bomb proof.

Anyway for first part you need an NOC.
For second part BMW 7 series will cost you around 9crores for BRV 2009 Standards Level B7. Any other question do let me know.

I'm sure you must have purchased one of them by now.
You normally need to apply NOC to Ministry of Interior and afterwards you can either import or manufacture them locally.

For BMW and Merc I would never suggest you to go locally.
BMW or Merc nearly cost you around $175k - $220k till karachi port then all your clearance.
Land cruiser will cost you around 1.5 - 2.25 Crore cleared from custom and all that in Pakistan.

The next best thing to bullet and bomb proof vehicles are services which install bullet proof glass and sheets in the doors. It's much cheaper and has been done in Pakistan since at least 2002.
