If you know a local mechanic who is reliable for civic then go for civic .if you have the mindset to go to official workshop for mantainance .then go for German made cars .i have owned German as well as Pakistani made cars and the difference of mantainance is not that much if you go to official workshops for both .the only price difference will be initial cost of car .one more point to keep in mind is that if your car gets into accident and you have a broken car then German car will cost more to get repaired then Civic irrespective in which workshop you go .so keep these points in mind and I wish you good luck with your car .

Hi.
Just bought a 2002 w203 180 Kompressor. Not happy with it's acceleration and response time. The feul average is 6-8 km/ litre.
Any suggestions on what to get checked and from where?
And can you also fill me in on the maintenance details, what to do and how often? And where to get it done from?
