Buying a suitable bike GS150 or YBR

Yamaha YBR125 is all about style an complete modern bike with all features
on the other hand GS150 is the most powerful bike engine wise looks are not
attractive and quality of Suzuki is not good as well but its definitely gives you
more power as compare to YBR

Regarding maintenance both these bikes needs sensible mechanics hands

Hmm Amjad bro i have rode both bikes and then i was confused between comfort and speed.... for comfort i was thinking yamaha and for speed i was thinking suzuki

And yeah... i know some mechanics just know how to make large receipts....

I will go for YBR, its modern & fresh with good quality as well
but i will prepare my mind for its performance there are many
users who reported & my personal experience with two ybr's
of friend's this bike has top speed 100km/h don't expect 100+ easily

GS150 engine is very good but rest parts are of low quality and
many cases has been reported for its poor quality

Hmm bro I have seen some people who have clocked 125 km/hr.... maybe ybr 125's some models are underpowered but not all...

amjad dont you think gs 150 is easy to maintain than ybr?
as parts are expensive, if someone who is willing to keep it for more than 2 years he will face issue

I was a silent reader of PW forums, now i need help in making a decision.
I need to buy a suitable bike, and have shortlisted 2 bikes
1. Yamaha YBR 125
2. Suzuki GS 150

All opinions are most welcome.

Go for suzuki 110 or 150

Although both bikes are very different but in the given situation I would go for YBR because by sacrificing extra 25cc I am getting overall a better package, better quality and a lot of goodies.

In my opinion GS does not deserve its price tag just like Suzuki Mehran. If the price would be lower then it will be fine.

I think YBR justify the price tag for what it is offering as a complete package as compare to GS package.

Bro i purchased Suzuki GS150, trust superb bike, superb comfort, petrol average 46km, Zero noise/vibration(like honda 125)
i admit it Gs150 look is not so gud as compare to yamaha, but performance is way better than Yamaha and main thing Suzuki parts are comparatively cheap as compare to Yamaha
My advice go for Suzuki GS150

Hmm bro actually i am buying a motorcycle for amusement... so i need a motorcycle with power and looks don't matter, the performance does... and I travel 100 km in a week...

BTW do have any idea when yamaha is launching its 150CC line-up?

I have GS 150 and my friend bought YBR after selling his GS. He gave me his YBR for a week for testing because I was too thinking of buying one. Not only I dropped my plan of buying YBR but my friend is buying GS again. YBR is a good bike but IMO, very underpowered. It did go to 110 km/h but it takes a while and the acceleration and torque just isn't there. GS has massive mid range power and is much much more fun to ride. Parts are cheap too. The only good thing in YBR was the disc brake. YBR's quality is better as well but comes at a steep price. Comfortability wise both are almost same. GS is just a much more joy to ride.

For what I know there will be no 150cc until the 2017 and 2018. YBR-Z 125cc (simple classic version) is expected in the mid/end of 2016 or in the beginning of 2017.

Btw YBR and YBR-G I would pick G variant.
