Isn't it like every engine consumes oil when worn out? Or 1zz was eating oil since it was new. Please shed some light on the oil eating habit of 1zz

Now, I would like my PW members to suggest me 1 out of these two,as i have a budget of 1.4million, which is quite good for a sindh registered vehicle:
1- Altis 1.8 SR 2009 model
Or
2- Gli 1.6vvti 2011 model

My preferences are just to get a good vehicle.
Altis 2009 would be having cruisetonic as well as sunroof. Furthermore what should be the price of these two....?

Try finding altis 1.6 sr. 2011 onward...u will love it against gli 1.6..sunroof and cruise control

But i had heard complaints regarding some oil issues....! Is it true...? And secondly what is the fuel consumption...?

Yes it has oil consumption issue from factory but not as much and it gives 14-15 km/l on long and 8-9 km/l in city

Try a bit u should get sr version in this price. Sincerely speaking, prices are insanely high these days but still hard top should not be this much
