How much a brand new car deprecate in value on average over 2/3 years in UAE? If the car is in excellent condition no accidents and well maintained. For BMW/Mercedes/Audi. And economical cars Corolla/Civic/Altima/ so on..

Choice was narrowed to Accord(2008-2011), Kia Cerato(new), Hyundai Elantra(new).
Used Accord was rejected because of its mighty 2.4L engine.
Brand new Kia was rejected because of its plain,simple and dull interior

Hyundai Elantra is finalised now.A whole new experience:D
1.8L CVVT.
12A type 2014 model.

Thankyou all for your suggestions and sorry if anyone is hurt with my choice
Forget resale:P and comment about its design, engine etc etc.

since when is 2.4l a MIGHTY engine in UAE? its hardly the standard size there. plus petrol is cheap so it shud nt have any issues. anyways... best of luck with the car...

these Korean cars depreciate very quickly, specially if bought brand new. They are not that reliable too. Although they offer a lot of features for less price, which is why people get impressed. I'd say ur brother shud reconsider the decision.

It wont be a daily runner car. Maximum 150 km only at weekends. HAnd he is buying it because of his passion.

new car if properly maintained and handled carefully will last over 150000 KM without any break down. The shape is nice sporty read owner's manual print out maintenance schedule keep tab on warranty coverage. drive safe & drive carefully use light foot to get maximum economy.

Pre owned certified German cars are also good but I think am late to suggest Good luck
